As Nigerians continue to await the results of the Governorship and house of Assembly elections former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel wants people to accept the outcome of the elections.

The former governor while speaking shortly after voting noted that the people have come out in large number to vote and people are full of expectations and urged them to accept the results in good faith.

Otunba Daniel also appealed to the winners and losers of the elections to accept the results in good faith for the country to move forward.

Also speaking after voting at his iperu ward unit 3, governorship candidate of All progressives Congress, Prince Dapo Abiodun said he was satisfied with the process at his polling  unit.

Prince Dapo who advised that the process  should  be democratic urged all political parties not to  rig the election.

The governorship candidates also advised the people not to be violent and respect democracy.

Meanwhile collation of the ballots is on going in various polling units across Ogun State.

The media center Centre at INEC, is also set for the collation of the governorship results and the eventual announcement.
