As the country struggles with inconclusive elections in some parts of the country , politicians have been cautioned against desperation for power.
The general Overseer of the Gospel Faith Mission International, GOFAMINT , Pastor Elijah Abina gave the appeal while addressing newsmen on his visit to Akure.
Pastor Abina who maintained that quest for power and positions at all cost was inimical to the development of the country asked politicians to imbibe the fear of God in their struggles for positions.
The cleric gave credence to the anti corruption fight of the present administration and it’s efforts to make life better saying it was evident that no one could satisfy human needs completely.
The Gofamint general Overseer who was in Akure for the dedication of a new church building, Gofamint Owode Assembly Cathedral, enjoined Christians to invest in things pertaining to God , care for the poor and guard against waste.
