The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, says it will not relent in the effort at reducing accidents on highways across the country.
The new Assistant Corps Commander, Ilesa Unit Command, Mr. Olufemi Buraimo stated this during a courtesy visit to the management of Gold FM Ilesa.
The new Assistant Corps Commander explained that the command would take its enlightenment programme to worship centers, schools, markets and traditional institutions to sensitize drivers and other road users for safety of lives on the road.
Mr. Buraimo solicited the support of Radio Nigeria towards accomplishing the goal of reducing carnage and ensuring safety of all road users.
In a remark, the General Manager of Gold FM, Alhaji Abolade Imam, welcomed the new commander to Ijesaland and advised him to surpass the achievements of his predecessor.
Alhaji Imam pledged the support of the station to promote FRSC programmes aimed at reducing roads accidents in Ijesaland.
