Cleric Admonishes Mothers to be Virtuous
Provost of The Cathedral of Saint James The Great, Oke Bola, Ibadan, Very Reverend David Olagbaju has admonished mothers to exhibit godly character so as to earn respect from the society.
The cleric, gave the admonition in his sermon at the celebration of Mothering Sunday held at the cathedral.
Speaking on the theme, The Wife of Noble Character, Very Reverend Olagbaju explained that a woman who was hard working, respectful, meek and generous would enjoy peace every where she goes.
He enjoined mothers to be decent in appearance, prayerful and avoid gossip to enable them live as good role models for their children.
Very Reverend Olagbaju, also advocated better care for women to enable them stabilise the home.
The event featured special song rendition and prayers for mothers.
