Ogun State Coordinator of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Mrs. Belinda Faniyi has called on Nigerians to patronize goods produced by serving corps members to encourage them to be more productive.

The state coordinator made the call at the flag-off of the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, SAED of the 2019 Batch A Corp members held at the Sagamu permanent orientation camp.

Mrs. Faniyi stated that the youth corps members could only be encouraged to become employers of labour when their products are being demanded.

The state coordinator said twelve business skills including agriculture, food processing and constructions among others would be available for the corps members to learn during the mandatory one year service.

She advised the corps members to take advantage of the skill acquisition programme to make them employers of labour rather than job seekers.

Mrs. Faniyi, who inspected various products manufactured by serving corps members in Ogun State urged the them to take the packaging and marketing of the their products internet, said more efforts would be made to assist the corps members to ensure their products receive global acceptance.

Two thousand four hundred and ninety five Corp members are currently undergoing the three weeks orientation course at the Sagamu permanent orientation camp.
