Parents and private school operators have been urged to go the extra mile at exposing their pupils to on-the-job experience for better choice of career.

Management of Tamac Private School, Latiiku, Omi-Adio, Ibadan, made the call when they led pupils of the school on excursion to the broadcasting House of Radio Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station.

Speaking on behalf school management, leader of the school delegates, Mr. Bashir Quadri, who commended the operational standard of Radio Nigeria, noted that a visit to media outfit of note would further shapen the minds of the pupils and keep them focus in their academic pursuits.

The pupils were conducted round operational sections of the Broadcasting House where they had a first-hand experience of how news and programmes are aired.

Some of the pupils, who shared their experiences, said it would guide them in career choice.

They also, thanked Radio Nigeria for exposing them to the world of journalism and broadcasting.
