Gateway United Football Club of Ogun State have vowed to bounce back and get back to winning ways after the barren home draw against Ekiti United in one of the first 2018/2019 season Nigeria National League, NNL, Match Day One games.

The Akeem Busari-tutored side failed to get off to a flying start by sharing the spoils with the visitors who were on the back foot all throughout the encounter.

Reacting to the game, Coach Akeem Busari who expressed disappointment over the result said all hands were on deck in their quest to gain promotion to the elite league.

Also, Coach of Ekiti United Football club, Ademola Agbana who commended his players for their determination and resilience throughout the encounter also expressed satisfaction with the level of officiating.

Meanwhile, Gateway United will begin their Ogun FA Cup campaign in Ijebu Ode on Saturday 13th April, 2019 against Customs FC before facing Dynamite FC on April 20, 2019 in Auchi in the Match Day 2 of the 2018/2019 NNL Season.
