As part of measures to celebrate sixtieth anniversary of Western Nigeria Television, WNTV, its alumni association has sought the collaboration of African Newspapers of Nigeria,ANN, publishers of Nigerian Tribune to promote its agenda.

Speaking through leader of the delegation,former ambassador of Nigeria to The Philippines, Dr. Yemi Farounbi said the association sought to reawaken and celebrate past achievements of great personalities in the country like late Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Responding, chairman African Newspaper Of Nigeria Plc, Dr. Olatokunbo Dosumu who welcome the development said the organization would support the WNTV Alumni Association in all the areas needed.

First female Senior Advocate of Nigeria S.A.N, Mrs. Folake Solanke who is also the chairperson of the WNTV Alumni Association said people such as the late Awolowo should not be forgotten for his legacies.
