Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu says his administration will partner professionals in Ondo State to enhance ongoing massive infrastructure development of the state.

Mr Akeredolu disclosed this in Akure at the third Annual Lecture and Investiture of Mr Adedire Adeyinka as the fourth Chairman of Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), Ondo State Chapter.

The governor represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Ifedayo Abegunde, solicited the support of professional bodies for his administration’s efforts at bringing dividends of democracy to the people through road construction and establishment of industries for employment opportunities.

In a remark, the new state Chairman, Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria, Mr Adeyinka Adedire, called on the state government to address the issue of capital flight by patronising local professionals in the execution of capital projects .

In a lecture, the National Chairman of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria, Mr Samuel Adekola posited that abuse of hard drugs by youths was responsible for high rate of crimes and insecurity in the country.
