Governor-elect of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde says his government will be open to both local and foreign investors with a view to bringing development to the state.

He stated this in Ibadan during a courtesy visit by a France delegation led by Ambassador of France to Nigeria and  ECOWAS, Mr Pasquire Jerome.

Engineer Makinde said Oyo State is blessed with natural resources needed to be tapped for the interest of the state.

Engineer Makinde lauded the delegation for the visit and expressed the state’s readiness to partner France for its advancement.

He identified areas of interest in this regard to include human development, education, agriculture, sport and economy.

Speaking on different opportunities, France Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Pasquier Jerome said France was poised to develop relationship with Nigeria in different fields.

Mr Jerome said France has so many companies willing to do businesses in Nigeria.

On the team were Consular General of France in Lagos, Mr Polocacox Laurent and the Science and Higher Education Attache Embassy of France, Professor Matthew Leila.
