Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has advised the incoming administration in the state to start conceiving ideas on how to boost the Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, to better the economic prospects of the state.

The governor gave the advice when he received the state’s council of Obas in his office, Agodi, secretariat, Ibadan.

Governor Ajimobi noted that governance was a serious business and the incoming government should gear up for the task ahead to make Oyo state a better place for all and sundry.

The governor appreciated the traditional institution for its contributions to the success of the present administration.

Speaking on behalf of the royal fathers, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi said the eight years tenure of Governor Ajimobi had been a blessing to Oyo state.
Oba Adeyemi implored the other traditional rulers to shun castigating governments as they were also part of the government.
