All is now set for the inauguration of Engineer Seyi Makinde as the next governor of the state.
Radio Nigeria correspondent who went to Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan, venue of the event to monitor preparations towards the handing-over ceremony reports that the main bowl of the stadium is already wearing a new look.
The stage has been constructed for oath-taking of the governor-elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan.
The police also did a rehearsal with Engineer Makinde in attendance.
In an interview, the chairman of the swearing-in committee in Oyo state, Dr. Nureni Adeniran urged people of the state to come out en-masse for the epoch making occasion.
