The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has inaugurated over 600 housing units built at Issele Asagba in Delta State.  

The Vice President who was received by a mammoth crowd of residents of the area was accompanied by the State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa to perform the brief ceremony.

Professor Osinbajo had earlier inaugurated some road projects in Burutu and environs in Delta South Senatorial district of the state.

A beneficiary of one of the housing units, Mrs. Asiafa Love, said the initiative have made her family happier and appreciated the government and private partners for the project.

Also the Managing Director, Family Home Funds, Mr. Femi Adewole, said similar projects were also being carried out in five other states, noting the goal of the company was to deliver housing projects in all thirty six states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

The Asaba Housing Project is a scheme under the Federal Government Social Intervention program with six hundred and fifty housing units, comprising one and two semi-detached bungalows and other amenities.
