NOA Inaugurates EFP Champion Club in Basorun High School

In a bid to improving healthy living in families, the Oyo State Directorate, National Orientation Agency, has inaugurated an Essential Family Practices, EFP Champions Club, at Basorun High School, Basorun Ibadan. 

Members of the club, who are mainly students of the secondary school, were expected to become ambassador who would champion basic family health in their various communities and homes. 

Addressing the students, State Director, National Orientation Agency, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu said the setting up of the EFP Champions Club was a follow up of a two day training held for pupils and teachers of some public schools in Ibadan North East on family health. 

While educating the students on essential family health practices, Mrs Dosunmu said people should give priority to their physical welfare and take cognizance of basic health practices such as, good nutrition and hygiene. 

The students were later put through techniques of hand washing before and after eating. 

Some of the students commended the initiative.
