The eighty re-engaged staff the Ekiti State House of Assembly Service Commission have been charged to justify their reinstatement into the legislative service by showing commitment to their duties.

The Chairman of the Commission, Chief Taiwo Olatunbosun gave the charge in Ado Ekiti while addressing the re-engaged staff at the opening ceremony of a weeklong induction training organised to re-integrate the officers into the legislative service.

Chief Olatubosun remarked that the Assembly Commission was committed to the training and retraining of its workforce towards having a commission that would be a pride to the legislative service in the country.

He stressed that promotion of staff would also be accorded priority but based on merit.

The chairman said the induction was organized to familiarize the staff with the nitty-gritty of the legislative service and enjoined them to make adequate use of the knowledge to be acquired during the induction training in their various duty posts.
