Director, Coaching Education of Football Coaches Association of Africa Nations, FCAAN, Coach Henry Abiodun, has paid a courtesy visit to the Ondo state Commissioner for Sports, Youth and Culture, Mr. Akindotun Owanikin to introduce to him the activities of FCAAN.

The visit afforded Coach Abiodun the opportunity to brief the Commissioner about the forthcoming FCAAN “D” Diploma Course coming up in November at the Ben Idahosa University, Benin City, Edo state. 

The former Sunshine Stars FC of Akure Handler explained that one hundred and forty football coaches were licensed by FCAAN after undergoing E and D Diploma Courses in Ibadan last June. 

Coach Abiodun added that the various courses of FCAAN have the backing of Nigerian Football Coaches Association, pointing out that the registration for the November programme in Benin City was in progress.

Responding, Mr. Owanikin commended FCAAN for its vision at promoting the game of football in Nigeria and the high level of synergy between FCAAN and Nigerian Football Coaches Association. 

Coach Abiodun later presented a FCAAN customised shirt to the Ondo state Commissioner for Sports, Youth and Culture.
