Sitting of an Osogbo magistrate court was disrupted for over thirty minutes as a 21-year-old accused person, Segun Balogun collapsed in court.
The accused person was arraigned for stealing some materials on 4th of October 2019 at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo.
The accused was put in the dock on a 3-count charge bothering on stealing and conspiracy and had pleaded not guilty to the charge read to him by the court clerk, before the clerk could finish reading the second offence, the accused person fainted right in the dock.
The prosecutor, Mr. Adeoye Kayode, told the court that the accused person was healthy before he was brought to the court.
The magistrate, Mrs. Risikat Olayemi ordered the accused person to be taken to the hospital for proper medication.
The case was adjourned till 14th day of October 2019.
