Governorship Poll: Oyo INEC Receives Materials

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Oyo State says it has received sensitive materials for the 33 local government areas of the state for Saturday, March 9, 2019 gubernatorial election.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr. Mutiu Agboke stated this while taking delivery of the materials at the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN,  in Dugbe, Ibadan.

Mr. Agboke noted that the commission had reviewed the short comings in the last election and promised to improve on them, especially the early arrival of adhoc staff and materials at each polling unit across the state.
