Oyo State Governor-elect, Mr Seyi Makinde has vowed to do everything within his power to reconcile the Ibadan traditional council to ensure that they speak with one voice as a singular body.

Mr Makinde stated this when the Olubadan in Council, led by the Otun Olubadan, High Chief Senator Lekan Balogun visited him at his Ikolaba residence, Ibadan.

The Oyo state Governor elect denied insinuations that he would dethrone the newly installed Ibadan kings by the current administration.

The members include, High Chief Hamidu Ajibade, High Chief Olakulehin, High Chief Abiodun Kola-Daisi, High Chief Eddy Oyewole,

Earlier, Otun Olubadan, Senator Lekan Balogun, who commended Makinde for his humility, appealed to him not to be partisan in governing the state.

Senator Balogun who spoke on behalf of the Olubadan in council explained that the purpose of the formal visit was to congratulate the Governor-elect and wish him a happy tenure as the newly elected administrator in Oyo State.
