Spacious environment is now a key to approval for primary and post primary schools in Ondo State.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu disclosed this while inaugurating a-six-block of classroom, Saint James’ Primary School at Òdá town in Akure.

Saint James’ is one of the seven hundred schools rehabilitated or constructed within the two years of Governor Akeredolu-led administration.

Governor Akeredolu maintained that spacious school environment would create enabling environment for pupils to participate in sporting activities.

Mr. Akeredolu appreciated the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB and Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, for the implementation of the project across the state.

Governor Akeredolu who challenged the pupils to excel as young champions of the digital age encouraged the teachers to uphold the standards of academic pursuits and discipline.

Earlier, a pupil, Miss Idowu Oloruntoba and the head teacher, Mrs. Morayo Adegbite appreciated the state government for the gesture but appealed for recruitment of more teachers to teach the pupils.
