The Governor of Osun State, Mr Gboyega Oyetola want corps members posted to the state not to take their health for granted.

He gave the advice while declaring close the orientation course for the 2019 Batch A at the National Youth Service Corps camp, Ede, Osun State.

Mr. Oyetola advised the corps members to speak up and seek medical help once they notice any changes in their body.

He charged them to eat only what improves their health as well as get involved in physical exercise to keep them fit for the challenges of life.

The Osun Governor told the participants to accept their postings unconditionally as both residents of the state in urban and rural areas require their services.

He implored them to renew their faith in the unity and peaceful co existence of Nigeria, using the period of their service to integrate with Nigerians from other Geo-political and cultural zones.

Earlier in an address, the Osun NYSC state coordinator, Mr Emmanuel Attah reminded the corps members that the NYSC uniform was not a license to commit crime, as anyone caught would face the full weight of the law.

Mr Attah appealed to employers of labour to make the corps members comfortable and treat them with respect and dignity.

The NYSC coordinator maintained that no employer should grant the corps member travel permit without recourse to the Secretariat.

Over two thousand Corps members were posted to the state for the 2019, Batch A service year.
