Mr. Feyisola Aremu of Programmes Department has emerged chairman of the new executives of Radio Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union, RATTAWAU, FRCN Ibadan chapter.

Mr.Aremu won the keenly contested election by eighty-one votes to defeat his closet rival mr. Bode Ogundiniyi of Amuludun FM, who polled eighty votes while Mr. Dayo Ajileti of it department had thirty.

In an interview, the new Chairman, Mr.Aremu said the welfare of members would be given priority.

Zonal Organising Secretary, Southwest RATTAWU, mr. Gbenga Olasupo who described the election as free and fair, advised the new executives to have the interest of members at heart.

While congratulating the new executives, the FRCN, Zonal Director , Alhaji Mohammed Bello expressed readiness to partner the union to improve the welfare of the members.

Other elected officers were Mr Lekan Sodimu of Audit Department, Vice Chairman; Mr Olumide Ogunbiyi of Programmes Department, Secretary; Mr. Rotimi Olagunjoye of Adminstration Department, Financial Secretary; Mr Olawale Mustapha also of Administartion Department; Public Relation Officer and Mrs Damilola Ogunshina of Finance Department, Treasurer.
