In a bid to assist in ensuring that the nation overcome security challenges, Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin in Ondo state has designed special programmes for the training of security personnel in Crimes management.

The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Olukayode Amund stated this at the compus during a news conference to usher-in various activities lined up for the third Convocation ceremony of the university.

Professor Amund listed security courses to enhance capacity of security agents to include Crime prevention, Community safety, forensic intelligence gathering and other aspects of national security.

The Vice Chancellor disclosed that eighteen students graduated with first class honors out of one hundred and thirty one graduands from all the thirty accredited academic programmes.

Some of the programmes lined up include convocation lecture entitled “the Nigerian university system and the challenge of internationalisation”, to be delivered by the Chairman, First bank Plc, Mrs Ibukun Awosika on Wednesday, this week while award of first degree holds the next day.
