A sixteen year old boy, Segun Albert has been alleged to have been beaten mercilessly by his guardian after coming back from where he went to fetch water for the family.
The boy whom neighbours claimed used to fetch water from morning till evening was always being maltreated by his guardian.
According to witnesses, the boy was beaten severely by the woman for coming home late.
Segun was alleged to have fainted for some time in the cause of the beating but was resuscitated by neighbours.
The guardian, Mrs Caroline Sobulo, who lives at Kuola , Apata, Ibadan affirmed that the boy had been living with them since September, 2017, due to the inability of his biological parents to cater for him.
As at the time of filing the report, the boy was in the custody of the police, while the Mrs. Sobulo had been asked to contact the parents of the underage boy.
