As Muslims progress in the Ramadan fast, renowned Muslim cleric, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani-Bello has admonished to live a life worthy of emulation so as to leave a good legacy.

Sheikh Ajani-Bello gave the admonition in Ibadan while delivering the National Television Authority, NTA Ibadan/Aare Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao Memorial Ramadan Lecture.

The Cleric noted that people would be remembered for their deeds after death hence the need for them to be upright, generous and honest while on earth.

Sheikh Ajani-Bello who recounted his last moment with the late Aare Arisekola Alao, described him as generous and God-fearing and enjoined the people to shun selfish acts, saying all will give account of God’s assets in their possession.

In an address, Zonal Director, NTA Ibadan, Engineer Omolola Olorode, who said the lecture was sponsored by the family of the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland and Delta, submitted that the program had over the years provided platform for spiritual rebirth.

The lecture had in attendance, different Muslim groups, representatives of the Arisekola’s family, Aare Alasa of Ibadan, Oloye Lekan Alabi, Commissioner of Police, Oyo state, Mr. Shina Olukolu, and Resident Electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Oyo state, Mr. Mutiu Agboke.
