Oyo State Governor-Elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde has been advised to build on the security network and infrastructural provision embarked upon by the outgoing administration of Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

The Diocesan Bishop of Ibadan North and Archbishop Of Ibadan Province Anglican Communion, The Most Reverend, Segun Okubadejo gave the advice while addressing delegates at the Third Session of the Seventh Synod held at Bishop Oyebode Memorial Anglican Church, Agugu, Ibadan.

The cleric explained that the outgoing governor of Oyo State had striven to ensure environmental cleanliness, provision of security and infrastructure saying the rehabilitation of road, health and education must be prioritized by the incoming governor to fast track development in the state.

Speaking on the theme of the Synod, ”Understanding the Nature of God”, taken from Jeremiah chapter one verse eight, the Most Reverend, Okubadejo said though God is loving and merciful, he would not hesitate in judging perpetrators of evil.

he Most Reverend Okubadejo urged the delegates to be fearless, embrace holiness, trust God and be prudent in all their dealings.

The delegates in their goodwill messages commended the exemplary leadership of the cleric and prayed God for more strength for him to steer the affairs of the diocese to an enviable status.
