Ramadan: Cleric Calls for Conscientious Stewardship

Muslim faithful have been called upon to always act positively while relating with other members of the society in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

An Islamic scholar, Sheik Bello made the call in Ibadan during a Ramadan lecture entitled “The Concept of Stewardship in Islam” organized by FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station.

Sheik Bello said Islam is a complete way of life that teaches accountability, transparency and stewardship in human endeavors to achieve a peaceful society.

The erudite scholar emphasized that the best form of constitution for human guidance remained the Quran and hadith of Prophet Muhammad towards achieving an ideal nation.

In a remark, the Aare musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Said Akinola, who spoke in Yoruba commended Radio Nigeria for promoting harmony and love among the citizens.

In an address of welcome, Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, said the aim of the programme was in fulfillment of the station’s motto which is to uplift the people and unite the nation.

Alhaji Bello called on Muslims to always be conscious of their character as they would acount for it on the day of reckoning.

Chairman, FRCN 2019 Ramadan committee, Alhaji Nafiu Busari thanked Allah for making the day a reality.

Dignitaries at the occasion included members of committee of management Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station.
