Oyo State Governor-Elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan have submitted their assets declaration forms at the state’s Code of Conduct Bureau, Ibadan.
Receiving the forms, the CCT boss at the office, Mr Moses Atolagbe said the step was in fulfillment of the law for elected officers to declare assets on assumption of office.
Mr Atolagbe said the CCT would go into the details of the analysis of the forms.
The governor elect in an interview with newsmen said the move became imperative based on the provision of the law.
He applauded labour in the state for suspending the strike in his honour, promising to dialogue with the union on the issue of workers welfare and the thirty thousand new minimum wage.
