Oyo State Government has presented the Certificate of Occupancy to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC to build new retail outlet.

Presenting the Certificate of Occupancy in his Office, the state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde said the step became imperative to boost the economy of the state and create more job opportunities for unemployed youths.

Governor Makinde said his administration would continue to provide necessary assistance to both private and public investors for the overall development of the state.

The governor stressed that he would ensure prompt issuance of Certificate of Occupancy within the sixty days of the application, while urging the management of NNPC to ensure speedy commencement of the proposed new retail outlet.

In a remark, Sales Representative of NNPC who led the delegation, Toluwalase Adesanya appreciated governor Makinde for his prompt response to their request and promised the commencement of the project as soon as possible.

The management of NNPC had earlier applied for C of O to build retail outlet in Ibadan.
