Ekiti State Government has promised to sustain its interaction and consultation with relevant stakeholders at the grassroots in order to rid the state off criminals.

The Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi who made the promise in Ado Ekiti at a meeting with Association of Ekiti Traditional Chieftaincy Holders, explained that multifacet approach was needed to curb security menace in the State.

Otunba Egbeyemi also assured the traditional chiefs of better welfare and called for their continued loyalty to the present administration.

According to the Deputy Governor, more qualified and competent hands would soon be recruited into the State Public Service in order to reduce unemployment in the State.

The Chairman, Association of Ekiti Traditional Chieftaincy Holders, Chief Ilesanmi Oyewole had earlier expressed their readiness to join hands with government to tackle insecurity, and called on government to regulate the activities of hoteliers in the state.
