Director General of National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, Brigadier-General Shuaib Ibrahim has called corps members to shun act of indiscipline during and after their service year to be ready for the future leadership.

The Director General made the call during an early morning visit to Sagamu Permanent Orientation Camp of NYSC while addressing the 2019 Batch B Stream one Corps Members deployed to Ogun State.

The Director General and his entourage on the surprise visit to the Sagamu Permanent Orientation Camp of the Ogun state NYSC arrived the camp few minutes after six in the morning.

General Ibrahim advised corps members to always obey constituted authorities and urged them to at all times be obedient noting that any act of infractions they committed could have negative impact on their future.

He charged the corps members to be security conscious as they would be moving around during the service year and advised them to make necessary report of crime to security agencies when the need arises.

The Director General stressed the need for the corps members to key in, into the opportunities provided by the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme of the scheme to enable them become self-reliant.

General Ibrahim after addressing the corps members inspected the facilities on the camp and expressed satisfaction on what he saw and rewarded various groups of the corps members during the early morning visit.

Earlier, the Ogun State Coordinator of the NYSC, Mrs. Belinda Faniyi said the corps members undergoing the orientation in Ogun State had being cooperative including the supporting agencies.
