The new Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun has been sworn-in.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony held at the Executive Chamber Governor’s office, Ibadan, Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde stated that the appointment of SSG was not based on sentiment but competence.
Governor Makinde said government had demonstrated commitment towards ensuring gender and religious balance in the polity through the appointment.
Governor Makinde while urging women to continue to live up to expectation maintained that the choice of the SSG would bring great return on investment.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after the swearing-in ceremony, the new SSG, Mrs. Adeosun promised to work in line with the policy of the Oyo State Government to transform the state.
The ceremony was attended by top government functionaries and PDP stalwart.
