FG Needs to Do More to Improve Security – Fayemi

Chairman, Nigeria’s Governors Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has charged the federal government to intensify efforts in its fight against insecurity in the country.

Governor Fayemi made the call in Akure when he paid a condolence visit to the leader of Afenifere Group, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, whose daughter, Mrs. Funke Olakunrin was killed by suspected gunmen along Lagos – Ore expressway on Friday.

Radio Nigeria correspondent, Kayode Animasaun reports that sympathisers were in sad mood at the residence of the elder statesman in Ondo the state capital.
