The bills are for the establishment of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion; special duties; Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industries, Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport; Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources; Ministry of Information and Mass Mobilization and Ministry of Budget and Planning. 

The ministries’ bills when passed into law are expected to put the State on the path of posterity and upgrade its governance to a global structural practice.

In an interview, the lawmaker representing Irepo Olorunsogo state constituency, Mr Qozim Olayanju noted that the new ministries bills are to restructure the existing ones.

In a remark, the Speaker of the House, Mr Adebo Ogundoyin gave an assurance that the lawmakers would be thorough in examining the bills before passage to make them serve their genuine purposes. Kehinde Mosope
