Thousands of job seekers in Ekiti State have thronged the office of the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB in Ado Ekiti to collect the free teaching employment forms rolled out by the state government.

Radio Nigeria correspondent, who visited the venue where the forms were being distributed, reports that the place was filled to capacity.

Some of the job seekers from the sixteen local governments arrived the venue as early as six o clock in the morning to get the free employment forms.

In an interview, some of the job seekers appealed to state government to extend the collection days from two to four days.

Some food vendors and business centre owners used the opportunity to increase their sales.

Addressing newsmen, the SUBEB chairman, Professor Francisca Aladejana said Governor Kayode Fayemi recently approved the recruitment of NCE and Graduate Teachers into public primary schools in Ekiti.

Professor Aladejana appealed to the job seekers to exercise patience as the distribution continues on Wednesday.

She announced that all the applicants must submit their forms on Friday this week while written examination would take place on the 17th of this month in Ado, Ikere, Ikole, Ode, Ido and Ijero.
