World Bank has reiterated its commitment to partner with the Oyo State Government to speedily complete abandoned projects in the state.

The leader of the World Bank delegation, Mr Folusho Okunmadewa stated this during a working visit  to the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

Mr. Folusho Okunmadewa said projects that might receive the assistance from the World Bank include community/social development and all education projects in the state.

In his remark, Governor Seyi Makinde promised to channel the assistance the state would be getting from the World Bank to poverty alleviation.

The governor noted that all the portfolio for the state projects were in need of assistance, and any help rendered by the World Bank would be judiciously utilized.
