Ekiti State Government has postponed the distribution of employment forms to those to be recruited into the teaching profession.

SUBEB chairman, Professor Fransisca Aladejana announced this while addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti.

Professor Aladejana said the postponement followed uncontrolled crowds that thronged the venue of the exercise so as to avert stampede.

The SUBEB chairman, who assured that the recruitment would be transparent, said the board was considering online registration to avoid a repeat of what happened at the venue.

She however promised that the recruitment exercise would be carried out before the next academic session in September.

Thousands of job seekers had earlier thronged SUBEB office in Ado Ekiti but some of them alleged that only few people got the free forms before the exercise was disrupted.
