A cross section of students of University of Ibadan has appealed to the management to ensure security of lives and property within the campus.
They made the call while speaking with Radio Nigeria on the recent armed robbery attack on Abubakar Abdusalam post graduate hall of residence.
The students, who explained that no life was lost to the incident, recalled that similar robbery attack had happened not long ago.
They expressed regrets that such was happening in a citadel of learning charging the management to be more proactive.
Report has it that the Armed robbers who carted away jewelries, laptops and other valuables struck in the early hours of yesterday.
Efforts to speak with Director of Communication of the institution, Mr Olatunji Oladejo on the matter were not successful as he did not pick his mobile phone.
