To positively engage the students and to keep them off the streets during the holiday, former Green Eagles winger Chief Segun Odegbami has inaugurated a football summer camp at Wasimi, Ogun State.

Chief Odegbami in a remark at the opening ceremony of the summer camp stated that sedentary life style of the youths has added to burden of growing non communicable diseases.

He hinted that the summer camp was designed to keep students busy during the long holiday.

Over one hundred participants from different parts of the country within the age bracket of seven and twenty years registered in the summer camp.

Organiser says the major objective of the camp is to develop talents  and  enhance  sporting  skills in young boys and girls. 

Dignitaries at the camp include the General Manager NTA Abeokuta,  Mrs. Funmi Wakama and the veteran film producer, Chief Tunde Kilani among others.
