Ondo State Acting Governor, Mr Agbbola Ajayi has promised to honour corps members, who perform exellently during their service year in the state.

Acting Governor Ajayi made the promised at the official swearing in ceremony for the 2019 BATCH B STREAM 2 Corp members at the NYSC permanent orientation camp,  Ikare-Akoko. 

The acting governor, who conferred state awards of excellence on three former corps members, was represented by the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Dotun Owanikin.

He charged the newly sworn in corp members to emulate the good deeds of their predecessors by impacting positively in their host communities. 

In a remark, the state NYSC coordinator, Mrs Grace Akpabio disclosed that a total 1800 Corps officially registered for the orientation program.

Mrs Apkabio charged the corps members to actively participate in extracurricular activities during their stay in camp.

The three awardees Elias Amos, Esther Ajayi and Grace Oni, who were awarded certificates of excellence and cash prizes, appreciated the state government and NYSC for the gesture, promising to further impact on the society at large.
