Nigerians have again been advised to shun reprisals over the xenophobic attacks on foreigners in south Africa.

General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye made the appeal while addressing a congregation at the church’s monthly holy Ghost Night, held at the redemption camp, Lagos Ibadan expressway.

Pastor Adeboye explained that retaliation on South African citizens and businesses in Nigeria would further jeopardize the safety of other Nigerians living in violence free zones in South Africa.

Pastor Adeboye, who described an average South African citizen as a decent person to live with, said those fomenting troubles in South Africa were few in number.

The cleric said Nigerians should rather love, care and protect South Africans living in Nigeria as well as pray for the Federal Government to be able to solve the urgly situation rightly.
