Oyo state government has pledged to assist the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in providing befitting auditorium that will make activities conducive during orientation course. 

The state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde gave the assurance in a message through the Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan to the Terminal Parade 2019 Batch B Stream 2 corps members posted to the state.

Governor Makinde who said the government was poised at ensuring conducive environment for corps members posted to the state, urged the youth to translate all they learnt during orientation course to positive attitude to develop the country. 

Earlier, the Oyo state NYSC coordinator, Mrs. Eniola Ambekemo had said infrastructure within the camp was not sufficient for the corps members. 

Mrs. Ambekemo maintained that the scheme needed more toilets and an ultramodern auditorium calling on public-spirited individuals to come to their aid. 

The NYSC Coordinator also urged the people of Oyo state to warmly receive the corps members.

Radio Nigeria reports that one thousand seven hundred corps members participated in the terminal parade.
