Nigerians React to Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s Verdict

Reactions have continued to trail the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal yesterday.

A cross section of Ibadan residents who spoke with Radio Nigeria noted that the victory of President Buhari at the election petition tribunal is well deserved.

One of the residents, Mr Olaoluwa Omorinde appealed to the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the party to allow peace to reign so that the nation could move forward.

Similarly, Mrs Yekini Iyabo opined that once the verdict had been given by the tribunal, all the party involved should accepts their fate and wait for future elections.

Also speaking, Mr Olaniyi Daramola said the judgment of the tribunal was fair enough which is in line with the country’s democratic process.

They therefore called on President Buhari to put all measures in place to address poverty, unemployment, insecurity and socio-economic development among other challenges experiencing in the country.
