Inclusion of Health Education into the Nigerian Education Curriculum will go a long way at sensitizing children on health matters.

A keynote speaker at an Education Summit in Ibadan, and a Gynaecologist, Dr Tony Morinho made this known while delivering a paper on Health Education.

Dr Morinho said teaching children about information of body parts, sickness, symptoms and solutions would broaden their knowledge and would as well enhance healthy living.

Earlier, the convener of the summit, Mr. Francis Madojemu said the programme was part of his responsibilities in giving Education sector a facelift.

Mr. Madojemu stated further that teachers were included in the summit because they remained a major factor in the implementations of education policies.

The two- day summit featured lectures, presentations and exhibitions.
