Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria, MMPN, Oyo State Chapter has commiserated with the entire Muslim Ummah in the Southwest and Nigeria over the demise of the President, Muslim Ummah of Southwest Nigeria, MUSWEN,  Alhaji Sakariyau Babalola.

This is contained in a statement in Ibadan by Chairman, MMPN, Oyo State, Alhaji Ridwan Fasasi.

Alhaji Fasasi noted that the death of Alhaji Babalola was a big loss, which had created a wide vacuum in Southwest Ummah as well as the entire Nigerian Muslim Ummah.

He explained that Alhaji Babalola was a successful business man, renowned philanthropy, respected community head and the leader of Muslims in the Southwest.

Alhaji Fasasi explained that during the regime of Alhaji Babalola as MUSWEN President, he recorded tremendous achievements as his name would continue to be in gold.

Alhaji Fasasi explained that the Ummah was consoled with the fact that Alhaji Babalola who was also Deputy President General (South), Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation as he touched many lives through his philanthropic gesture. 

He prayed that Almighty Allah count him an inmate of Al-Jannah Firdaos and grant the family as well as all the Ummah the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
