“Our quest for a family court increased due to the increasing rate of gender based violence and we believe that this is one of the corrective tools to caution violators in our state”.

“We therefore use this opportunity to ask for a speedy completion of the project and furnishing immediately, so that the court can begin full operations in terms of dispensation of justice, this for us is another empowerment, when the right of children are implemented, we will have a peaceful society”.

She Iauded the efforts of the state government in the area of free education as more children have been returning to schools.

“The theme for this year’s celebration is “Empowering Girls for brighter tomorrow”, the girl child must be empowered in all ramifications, beginning with her rights not being violated. The rights of Nigerian children are not received any protection from the right quarters and this has affected a lot of children”.
