Ekiti State Government says various policies introduced by the present administration in the education sector have led to a remarkable improvement in enrollment in public schools across the state in the new academic session .

The Commissioner for Education, Mr Foluso Daramola made this known in Ado-Ekiti while receiving members of the Yobe State Policy Strategy/Steering Committee on the Revitalization of Basic and Secondary Education.  

Mr Daramola disclosed that series of steps taken by the state government had brought tremendous positive changes to the education sector.  
 
The Commissioner pledged that the Ekiti state government was ready to give technical support to the Yobe state government in its quest to reposition their education sector.    
Earlier, the leader of the team, Professor Mala Daura who is also the Chairman of the Policy Strategy/ Steering Committee on the Revitalization of Basic and Secondary Education said they were in Ekiti to assess and understudy the education sector with a view to replicating same in Yobe State.
