It was a joyous moment as friends, family and associates gathered the University of Ibadan conference center to celebrate the birthday of two octogenarian couple a Professor of chemistry and a retired nurse, Kayode Adesogan and Mrs. Doyinsola Adesogan.
In a sermon, Most Reverend Latunji Lasebikan of chapel of resurrection UI Ibadan urged the younger generation to always look up to Godly people like the celebrants as role models.
Two children of the celebrants Mr. Dapo Adesogan and and Mrs. Seun Aseiba described their parents those who gave them good legacies to emulate.
A son -inlaw and grandson of the celebrants Reverend Dr. Francis Asieba and Mr. Jefferry Adesogan said the celebrants have impacted a lot of lives positively.
The celebrants, professor Kayode Adesogan and Mrs. Doyinsola Adesogan who could not hide their joy said the grace of God have kept them this far.
Highlight of the event was a book presentation on the biography of the celebrants.
