LG Resumption: Caretaker Chairman Promises Grassroots Development

Residents of Ibadan Northwest have been assured of developmental projects under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.

The caretaker chairman of the council, Alhaji Olanrewaju Adepoju gave the assurance while speaking on their resumption in office.

Alhaji Olanrewaju explained that numerous developmental projects at the grass root were awaiting implementation saying projects such as road rehabilitation, healthcare and security would be put in place to move the state forward.

Also speaking the Head, Local Government Administration of the council, Alhaji Kunle Ogunsola implored staff and residents of the council area to cooperate with the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde in his quest to bring succour to the people of Oyo State.

Radio Nigeria correspondent, who monitored the resumption at Ibadan Southwest reports that employees of the council have commenced official work while some of the staff were narrating their experience during the strike.
