The bill for a law to establish the Ondo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps has passed second reading at the state house of assembly.

The lawmakers at a plenary presided over by the Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun thereafter committed the bill to the House Committee on Security to be joined by principal officers of the House for security.

According to the bill the Amotekun Corps are to assist in maintaining law and order in the state and for connected purpose. 

Meanwhile, a public hearing on the bill will hold on Monday February 24th at the parliamentary chamber of the Assembly.
